Run Turkey Run is a community 5K and 10K run/walk held on November 27, 2025, in Almaden Valley, San Jose. The event supports Bret Harte Athletics & Booster Club programs for athletics, physical education, and student clubs. The course starts and ends at Leland High School (6677 Camden Avenue) and uses paved trails along Los Alamitos Creek and sections of Camden Avenue. The route is mostly flat with minimal elevation gain.

Logistics and participant information

Registration includes race entry, a dry-fit tech shirt, and a race bib with a timing chip. Packet pick-up is available the Tuesday before the event at Bret Harte Middle School (7050 Bret Harte Drive) and on race morning at Leland High School. Parking is available in the Leland High School lot; entrants are advised to use the Via Valiente entrance because Camden Avenue will be closed on the race day segment. Water stations are placed along the course. There will be no portable restrooms on the course; restrooms are available at Leland High School before the start. Strollers and leashed pets are allowed; bicycles, scooters, skateboards, hoverboards, and wagons are not. Age-group award categories are specified for participants under 70 years; participants 70 and older may join but are not eligible for medals. Minor participants must be accompanied by an adult.
