The Burns Park Run will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in the Burns Park neighborhood of Ann Arbor near the University of Michigan campus. The race uses a tree-lined loop course around Burns Park and the event is organized and run by volunteers. The event serves as a fundraiser that supports Burns Park Elementary PTO programs and marks its 48th anniversary in 2026. All finishers in the timed events (5K run and walk, 10K) receive a finisher medal. An awards ceremony is held after the Fun Run to recognize top overall, masters and grand masters in the 5K and 10K, winners in each adult age group, and 1st through 3rd place in youth age divisions (5 and under through 17 years).
