About the race
The Cactus Rose Endurance Trail Race is held in Bandera, Texas, at the Hill Country State Natural Area. Distances include 100 mi, 50 mi, 25 mi, 25 mi Ruck, 5 mi, 5 mi Ruck, and a Youth 1‑Mile Trail Run. The 2025 race runs October 24–26.
It’s a rugged, endurance-focused event designed to test runners with picturesque yet technical terrain, including climbs and descents. Runners must be self-sufficient, as aid stations are limited; medical staff are on site. The race is capped at 500 participants, and a shirt deadline is September 30.
