Capitol City Chase Half

The Capitol City Chase Half Marathon, held in Georgetown near the Nation’s Capital, offers a scenic race along the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path. The half marathon starts and finishes near the Potomac Boat Club, featuring a mostly flat, light gravel trail with minimal elevation changes on an out-and-back course. The event also includes 5k and 10k races starting at Fletcher’s Boathouse.

Participants receive a finisher’s medal, technical shirt, and chip timing. Walkers are welcome, and a virtual race option is available. The race supports Warriors Ethos, aiding veterans and their families in career transitions.
