Event overview
The Cedar Rapids Hot Cider Hustle takes place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on October 11, 2025. The event includes the following distances:

The start and finish are at NewBo City Market (1100 3rd St SE). The course uses the Cedar River Trail and is described as flat. The event is chip-timed and has course time limits for each distance. Finish-line items for participants include a 2025 finisher mug for every participant, a runner’s choice of a thin-tec hoodie or classic t-shirt, hot apple cider and caramel apples. Half marathon finishers receive a finisher medal; 10K and 5K finisher medals are available as add-ons. Awards are given to the top three male and female participants in each age group and overall for each chip-timed category. Age groups include categories from 10 & under up to 70+.
Logistics and services
Packet pick-up options include mailing (fee applies), pre-race store pickup at Dick’s Sporting Goods (address listed on event page), or event-morning pickup with expected wait. Virtual-run participants receive mailed gear before race day. Water stations provide water and the half marathon stations also include sports drink. There is no gear check on site. Live participant tracking is available via the RaceJoy app. The event supports Families Helping Families of Iowa as a charity partner. Volunteers receive an event shirt.
