Cherrylake Farm Races : January 31, 2026
The Cherrylake Farm Races take place at Cherrylake, 7836 Cherry Lake Road, Groveland, Florida on January 31, 2026. The event offers multiple race formats held on the farm and nearby roads. Distances available:
- Duathlon: 5k run - 20k bike - 2.5k run
- 5k: off-road run through the tree farm
- 10k: off-road run through the tree farm
Course, logistics and awards
The running course uses clay terrain and off-road paths among rows of trees and natural lakes. The duathlon bike course uses paved, rolling hills on Cherry Lake Road. Water is available before the race and at several aid stations on course. Each finisher receives chip-timed results, event swag, and post-race food. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each event, plus the top three in each 10-year age group from 19 and under to 70+. Duathlon participants must hold a USAT yearly membership or purchase a one-day membership and pick up their own packet; 5k and 10k runners may pick up packets for other racers. Packet pickup is available Friday, January 30 at Dash Sports (741 W Montrose St, Clermont) and on race day at Cherrylake. Each registered participant corresponds to one tree donation through the event’s 1000 Trees for 1000 Years program; race proceeds support local ecological projects and Lake County schools.
