The Classics by the Sea is the 26th annual running event presented by the Palm Beach Roadrunners. It takes place at Carlin Park in Jupiter, Florida on January 17, 2026. Events offered include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Kids 1-miler (open to ages 5-12)
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 10K
The course is an out-and-back along the road by the beach and starts and finishes at Carlin Park. The event includes chip timing.
Logistics and awards
The race provides finisher medals, long sleeve tech shirts, food, and awards. In the 5K and 10K there are overall awards, a masters category (40+), a grandmasters category (50+), and 5-year age group awards from 14 and under through 90 and over. The Kids 1-miler has 1st/2nd/3rd overall placings with no age groups. Parking is available on both the east and west sides of Carlin Park; east-side spaces near the start/finish tend to fill first while west-side spots are available near the performing arts bandshell. Road closures near the park begin before the races and can affect access from A1A and Indiantown Road; alternate parking at Maltz Theater or lots along Indiantown Road places you about 1/2 mile from the start.
