Cookie Daze

Cookie Daze is a family-friendly running event held in Newton, Kansas, at Athletic Park. Scheduled for June 14, 2025, it features two 5k races: a fun run and a competitive run. The fun run includes a unique twist where participants eat a cookie at each water station before continuing.

The 5k course follows the paved Sandcreek Bike Path, starting with a loop around Athletic Park, then heading north to 12th Street, south to 1st Street, and back to the park. Awards are given to top male and female finishers across various age groups. Proceeds support local charities Caring Hands Humane Society and Safehope.
