Cool Moon 100 Mile Endurance Run (Jun 13, 2026)
The Cool Moon 100 is a 100-mile trail race near Cool, California, staged from the Cool Staging Area (7200 Saint Florian Court). The event uses looped trails and is held on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Live runner tracking is provided by UltraLive.net using timing equipment and timing chips. Packet pickup is available at the start/finish area on the day before the race and on race morning. Registration closes June 9, 2026.

Runners complete four 13.5-mile North loops and four 11.5-mile South loops, in the order North then South. The course is a mix of single track and fire roads and is described as well-marked. Elevation per loop is approximately 2200 ft for the 13.5-mile North loop and 1150 ft for the 11.5-mile South loop. Total elevation gain and loss for the 100 miles is approximately 13,600 ft.
There are multiple aid stations on each loop; some are full aid and some are water-only. Pacers are allowed after the third loop (mile 38.5). Crews are restricted to the Cool Staging Area and may assist runners there after each loop. Drop bags are allowed at Cool and Knickerbocker. Finishers receive a handcrafted Comstock Heritage buckle, a shirt, and a finisher's medal; top three overall male and female finishers receive custom plaques.
