Website

The Rio Del Lago 100 Mile Endurance Run is a premier ultramarathon held annually in the scenic Sierra Nevada Foothills of California, about 40 minutes east of Sacramento. Starting at Beal's Point in Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, the challenging 100-mile course features diverse terrain including oak woodlands, meadows, single-track trails, paved bike paths, and historic landmarks like Folsom Prison and No Hands Bridge. The route combines parts of the American River 50 and Way Too Cool 50K races, with an elevation gain/loss of approximately 13,874 feet.

A 50K race option is also offered on a fast, scenic course. The event is known for well-stocked aid stations, enthusiastic volunteers, and a festive post-race celebration. It serves as a qualifier for the Western States 100 and emphasizes community involvement and environmental stewardship. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
