About the race
Rio Del Lago 100 Mile Endurance Run is a premier ultramarathon held at Beal’s Point in the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, about 40 minutes east of Sacramento. The event features a 100‑mile race and a 50K endurance run, both looping from Beal’s Point toward Auburn and back along the American River Parkway, with portions on the Johnny Cash Trail and Nimbus Bluffs. The course covers rugged single‑track and paved sections with roughly 13–14k ft of total elevation change.
