Cool Moon Trail Races : June 13-14, 2026
The event in Cool, California (7200 Saint Florian Court) offers multiple distances run during the Cool Moon 100-Mile event. Distances offered include:

Course, aid stations and logistics
The course is built from two main loops: a 13.5-mile North loop and an 11.5-mile South loop. Runners complete North then South loops in sequence to reach their total distance. Terrain includes single track and fire roads and passes sections named Western States trail, Pig Farm, K2, Olmstead, The Ranch, Salt Creek Loop, Knickerbocker, Blue Oak, Triple Creek, Rim Trail, Pilot Hill, Catecroft and hidden lake trails. The course is described as well-marked.
Approximate elevation gain: 100K ~9,000 ft; 50-mile ~6,700 ft; 25-mile ~3,350 ft; North loop ~2,200 ft; South loop ~1,150 ft. The 5K is half road and half trail, about 3.43 miles long with 243 ft elevation gain/loss and lightly rolling terrain. Aid stations on the North loop are at miles 4.5 (full), 8.8 (water only), 10 (full), 12.3 (full) and 13.5 (full). South loop aid stations are at miles 16 (full), 19 (water only), 20.5 (full), 23 (full) and 25 (full). Drop bags are available at Cool and Knickerbocker for the 100K, 50-mile and 25-mile.
