Cowboy 200 - Norfolk, NE

Website Registration

The Cowboy 200 is an ultramarathon held in Norfolk, Nebraska, featuring two race options: a 200-mile and a 100-mile run. The 200-mile race follows the scenic Cowboy Trail, a crushed limestone rails-to-trails path that is flat, non-technical, and 100% runnable, stretching from Norfolk to Valentine. Runners experience Nebraska's natural beauty, historic railroad relics, and over 200 bridges, including a quarter-mile-long, 148-foot-high bridge.

The event offers ten manned aid stations with hot food, nine water-only stations, and three sleep stations. Awards include cash prizes for the 200-mile winners, unique finisher buckles, and a post-race celebration at Bolo Beer Co. The race emphasizes affordability and a no-repetition course.
