Event information
The Crystal Cove Trail Run is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Crystal Cove State Park, El Moro (8471 N. Coast Highway, Laguna Beach / Newport Beach area). Packet pick-up is held the day before at Arc’teryx Fashion Island. On-site race day parking is available for $15 (card only); overflow parking is at the Reef Parking Lot, about a 1-mile warm-up north on the Pacific Coast Highway. Age-group awards are offered for the 6k and 15k fields.
Courses and services
The event features multiple course lengths:
- 15K - 9.35 miles, 1,647 feet of elevation
- 6K - 4.1 miles, 696 feet of elevation
- Kids 1k - 0.52 miles, 22 feet of elevation
Aid stations and course markings: the 15k has three aid stations stocked with water, Skratch hydration, and Crank e-Gels (approx. miles 3.9, 5.6, 7.5); the 6k has one aid station with the same supplies (approx. mile 2.1). All courses are marked with flour, ribbons, and directional signs. The 15k carries a $2,000 prize purse with podium payouts for top finishers. Race entries include finisher medals, race shirts with same-day results, free race photos, post-race breakfast options, a 21+ beer garden, and post-race sports massages.
