Dave McKay Memorial Half Marathon

The Dave McKay Memorial Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk, held annually in Flagstaff, Arizona, is the state's second oldest half marathon, celebrating its 48th year in 2025. The event features a challenging and scenic course starting at Thorpe Park, climbing to Observatory Mesa with stunning views of the San Francisco Peaks and elevations ranging from 6,957 to 7,731 feet. Participants can choose between a half marathon, early half marathon run/walk, 5K fun run, or a Kid's Dash.

All runners receive a high-tech long-sleeved shirt, with half marathon finishers earning a handcrafted wooden medallion.
