Day of the Dead Series

The Day of the Dead Series is a two-day running event held in Las Cruces, New Mexico, featuring races on October 25 and 26, 2025. Participants can run one or both days, choosing from distances including 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, and 50K. The course is USATF certified and Boston qualifying, starting at La Llorona Park, with a fast, flat, paved route alongside a crushed gravel lane.

The half marathon requires six laps of a 1.1-mile out-and-back loop, while the full marathon is 12 laps. The event welcomes walkers, offers extensive aid stations, and provides medals for finishers each day. Pets are not allowed, but strollers are welcome.
