Event overview
The 2026 DC Mother’s Day event in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. features timed 5k and 10k races on May 10, 2026. Points for both distances count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series and the Spring Series. A virtual race option is offered. Walkers and strollers are allowed. The event is organized by Bishop’s Events and benefits Operation Turbo.

Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (drifit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered before April 29. Registration fees listed in the event information apply and increase after April 30, with an additional increase on race morning.
Course and logistics
The course runs along the C&O Canal on a light gravel dirt road with minimal elevation change and is an out-and-back route. Water stations: three on the 10k course at about miles 1.5, 3.1, and 4.65; one on the 5k course at about mile 1.5. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Port-a-johns will be located near the check-in area. Packet pickup is available at the event; there will be no on-site race registration.
Live results will be posted online and via a QR code at the race; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Parking options are available along Water Street near the listed venue address. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
