De Soto Days 5K-9 and Family Fun Run
The event takes place Sunday, September 6, 2026, in De Soto, KS at 8850 Sunflower Road, 66018. It is the fifth annual 5K-9 & Family Fun Run and follows the De Soto Days festival. The event is presented by the local rescue Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary.

Each human registrant receives a bib with official timing and post-race snacks. There will be snacks and water for dogs. Dogs may join at no additional charge if they are dog- and people-friendly and up to date on vaccinations. Virtual participants may join from anywhere, any day, at any distance and are invited to share photos. Registration prices and deadline: 5K-9 Run $35, Family Fun Run $20, Virtual Dog Jog $30; registration ends August 25, 2026 at 10:30am CDT.
