Deafinitely Not Different 5k and Fun Run takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Vines High School, 1401 Highedge, Plano, TX 75075. The event includes three options:
- 5k
- Fun Run
- Virtual Run
Registered entry fees listed are $35 for the 5k, $30 for the Fun Run, and $30 for the Virtual Run. Registration for the Fun Run and the Virtual Run is shown as ending March 28, 2026 at 11:59pm CDT. Packet pickup is scheduled for the evenings of March 26 and 27; the pickup location is to be determined. Event parking is available at the Admin building or on the east side of Vines High School. The Fun Run is held on the west side of Vines.
Purpose and logistics
The event benefits students who attend the Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf. The program provides services for over 500 families in Collin County, Richardson, and Coppell. Proceeds support activities such as information fairs, preschool field trips, competitive entry fees for teens, books for middle school Battle of the Books, and extra learning materials.
A shirt is included with registration; volunteer shirts are also provided while supplies last. General participant shirts are described as neon yellow with a black design, parent shirts neon orange, and volunteer shirts neon pink (short sleeved). The race is held rain or shine.
