About the race
Death at Dupuis (A Backyard Event) is a not-for-profit endurance race in the Dupuis Management Area near Canal Point, Florida. Runners complete a 4.1667-mile loop in a “last person standing” format, with loops restarting hourly until only one finishes on time or all quit. A warning whistle sounds 3, 2, and 1 minute before each restart.
The course traverses Dupuis’ wetlands and woodlands, with a basic start/finish area offering shade and supplies. The event, an Athletic Soul Foundation project, supports the Loxahatchee Chapter of the Florida Trail Association. No refunds are offered; donations are welcome.
