Event overview
The Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5k take place May 2, 2026 in Peninsula State Park, Fish Creek, Wisconsin. The events use paved, closed roads and start and finish near Nicolet Beach. The half marathon is run on a USATF-certified course that passes wooded areas, hills, and views of Lake Michigan. The 5k follows an out-and-back route toward Eagle Bluff Lighthouse and shares the same finish line as the half marathon.

Half marathon registration includes a long-sleeve tech shirt, finisher’s medal, post-run beer, free shuttles to and from the start/finish area, eight aid stations, age-group awards, and a virtual bag. 5k registration includes a short-sleeve tech shirt, aid-station support, awards for overall and masters divisions, age-group medals, post-run beer, and a virtual bag. The event is capped at 2,000 participants. Packet pickup is available the day before at Baileys Harbor Town Hall and on race day at Nicolet Bay inside the park. Parking in Peninsula State Park is limited. The event policy states there are no refunds; participants may transfer races until April 20, and bib transfers to another person are allowed for a $10 fee.
