Event overview
The Extreme Adventure Challenge is a timed, team-based fundraiser held on May 16, 2026 at Life Adventure Center’s 575-acre farm in Versailles, Kentucky (570 Milner Road, Versailles, KY 40383). The event uses a multi-checkpoint course that is described as both a 10K and a 5+ mile timed, two-hour challenge. Teams compete in male, female, and mixed divisions. Registration funds scholarships and supports Life Adventure Center’s outdoor programs for trauma-affected individuals.

Format and logistics
Teams register as either two-person or four-person entries; the event limits participation to 30 teams total. There are 18 checkpoints across the property. Checkpoints award one point for arrival and additional points for completing the on-site challenge. Some challenges require full-team participation while others need only one or two members. Teams record points on a punch card submitted at the finish location for scoring; late arrival incurs point deductions and early arrival can earn a bonus point.
Organizers provide required equipment and safety gear for checkpoint activities, and staff include certified lifeguard and NASP-certified archery supervision. All participants receive a race t-shirt, hydration and nutrition. The stated cost to participate ranges from $60 to $100 and the event is open to ages 16 and older.
