Fog Run

Fog Run is a long-running Bakersfield event held at Lake Ming (6299 Lake Ming Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306). The Probation Auxiliary County of Kern presents its 36th annual 5K-10K, plus a Virtual Run, inviting families and friends to participate. The course features scenic views of the surrounding mountains and lake, described as beautiful and relaxing.

Proceeds benefit at-risk youth through the Kern County Probation Department’s Helping Hands program, funding scholarships, mentoring, vocational training, clothing, and basic necessities. Distances include in-person 5K and 10K options, plus a virtual run for remote participants. It’s a community fundraiser with a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
