About the race
The Footprints Forever 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is an annual event held in Lafayette, Louisiana, at River Ranch Town Square. Celebrating its 16th anniversary in 2025, the event offers a 5K and a 1-mile run/walk for both adults and children, welcoming runners, walkers, and strollers. The race supports Maddie’s Footprints, a nonprofit aiding families affected by miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss in the Acadiana region.
