Lafayette Ostomy 5K

The 1st Annual Lafayette, LA Ostomy 5K, called the Run for Resilience, takes place on October 5, 2025, at Moncus Park in Lafayette, Louisiana. This family-friendly event celebrates World Ostomy Day with a 5K fun run/walk open to all ages, including a special category for ostomates and a kids' fun run for children 12 and under. The event features local vendors, food, live music, and a festive atmosphere.

Participants receive a T-shirt, bib with timing chip, and swag bag. Prizes are awarded to top finishers, including ostomates. Proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America, supporting ostomy awareness and advocacy.
