Course and format

The course is a 2.5 mile loop of farm roads, grass fields, and a small amount of double track on private property at the Genesee/Genessee Valley Outdoor Learning Center. The race begins with a mass start. Runners aim to complete as many loops as possible within their chosen time limit; any loop finished after a race cutoff does not count toward the total. Start and finish share the same location and there is a designated exit before the finish for refueling and relay exchanges. Solo racers may set up an aid table along the course prior to the finish area; these tables must be accessed from the course only. Volunteers will staff the exit to track who is on course.

Logistics, teams, and camping

Relay teams may be two- or four-person, and can be all female, all male, or coed; teams may exchange within the designated exchange area with no fixed order or lap minimums. Pacers are allowed only for individual runners; pacers must register, wear the issued yellow jersey, announce themselves to timers, may not carry aid for the runner, and may accompany only one runner at a time. Check-in, packet pickup, and camp setup open the Friday before the race. The camping area is a large grass field where teams may reserve a 10x20 space on a first-come basis. Camper vans and RVs are not allowed in the camping area but may be parked in the parking lot. Pets are not allowed on the property. Medical, food, and recovery areas are located near the start/finish and transition zones. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
