The Hex Hollow Half takes place in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, with the course beginning and ending at Spring Valley Park in southern York County. The 2025 edition is the 10th running. Registration opens September 21 and runs until November 3 or until the event is sold out. Organizers note that prices remain the same as a decade ago and that an anniversary tee shirt is available while supplies last.
Course and event details
- 13.13 miles - two-loop option (half marathon)
- 6.66 miles - single-loop option
The course features low meadows, mature hardwood forest, roller-coaster single track, and wider pine-covered tracks. Runners will encounter roots, rocks, two stream crossings, fast descents, and steep climbs. Elevation gain is 1,085 feet per loop. The single-loop option has one water stop; the half-marathon option has three water stops. All proceeds benefit Olivia's House Grief & Loss, located in York, Pennsylvania.
