About the race
Grand Slamrock is a running festival in Fredericksburg, Virginia, featuring three races: the Grand Slamrock 5K, Strike It Lucky 1 Mile, and Leprechaun Chase 1/2 Mile. The fast, flat USATF-certified 5K offers a stadium finish, finishing on the field, with a stroller-friendly course and no dogs allowed. Races conclude with on-field announcements and a big-screen finish.
Special perks include post-race beer courtesy of Matern Staffing, a chance for top male and female finishers to throw out the first pitch at a FredNats game (tickets included), and a 50/50 raffle benefiting the FredNats Booster Club.
