UTAH 115 - Event overview
UTAH 115 is a multi-distance ultramarathon held in Kanab, Utah, in the high desert of the Colorado Plateau. The event dates are 15 - 17 May 2026 and this is the 2nd edition. All courses are out-and-back and the start and finish are in Kanab at about 4,970 feet (1,515 meters) elevation. Runners will encounter hard packed and soft sand, sand dunes, forest trails, red rock climbs, rocky roads, double track and canyons. The route passes features such as Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Tom’s Canyon and Parunuweap Canyon. Wildlife and desert flora may be seen along the way.

Cut-off times are 50 hours for the 115-mile race, 20 hours for the 50-mile race, and 13 hours for the 50 km race.
Logistics, entry and support
There are no specific qualifications to register, but participants must be aged 18 or older. Entry fees vary by distance and registration date; early prices include $495 for 115M, $280 for 50M, and $175 for 50K (prices increase after 31 December 2025). Finishers receive buckles (115M) or medals (50M and 50K). Top male and top female finishers of the 115M receive a complimentary, non-transferable entry to a future Grand to Grand Ultra.
Aid stations aim to provide water, electrolyte drinks, sodas, hot drinks at night, and a range of daytime and nighttime foods. Some aid stations offer shared tent space with sleeping pads and blankets; sleep at these stations is limited to 3 hours. Drop bags are allowed with size limits (maximum 12 x 20 x 12 inches) and may not be guaranteed; unclaimed bags will not be mailed. On-site accommodation options include tent rentals, glamping tents and RV parking with no hook-ups; parking for standard vehicles is free.
