Over the Rainbow Runs

Over the Rainbow Runs is a pair of trail races set among the bluffs above Kanab, Utah. The events offer a 10K, a Half Marathon, and a Half Marathon Relay, all starting and finishing near Jacob Hamblin Park in Kanab. The course mixes 75% single-track, 20% ATV roads, and 5% city streets, mostly dirt with soft sand and two small rock scrambles; parts are technical and may be power-hiked.

Elevation gain is 1,012 feet for the 10K and 2,074 feet for the Half. The organizers emphasize a “Saturday morning with friends” vibe—low-key, inclusive, and focused on beauty and adventure—with proceeds benefiting the Friends of Kane County Children's Justice Center.
