Course, support, and race format
The course includes frequent climbs and descents, with an average grade reported at about 4-5%. The event is self-supported: runners may not accept outside assistance once they start. Organizers provide water and basic nutrition at aid stations spaced roughly every 8-10k on the front half and every 5-7k on the second half, with a fully stocked checkpoint just after the halfway point. Runners are advised to carry personal nutrition and water capacity. Courses will be marked; downloadable GPS files and cue cards will be available through RideWithGPS and Garmin Connect. Time limits are stated as 4 hours for the 25k and 8.5 hours for the 50k.
