Event overview
Lauf Gravel Worlds Run Series presents the Gravel Worlds run day in Lincoln, Nebraska on Friday, August 21, 2026. The run program is hosted by Lauf Gravel Worlds and presented by Goodlife Brands. Distances offered on race day are:
- 50k (~32 miles) - 2,000 ft elevation
- 25k (~16 miles) - 1,000 ft elevation
- 10k (~6 miles) - 400 ft elevation
- 5k (~3 miles) - 150 ft elevation
Course, support, and format
Courses are almost entirely on gravel and dirt roads with rolling terrain and frequent grades; the 25k route includes about 1,100 ft of elevation over 16 miles. The event is self-supported: once a runner leaves the start, outside support from teammates or family on course is not allowed. Aid stations will provide water and basic nutrition roughly every 8-10 km on the front half and every 5-7 km on the second half, with a fully stocked checkpoint just after the halfway point. Courses will be marked; organizers provide GPS files and downloadable cue cards through RideWithGPS and Garmin Connect and recommend runners carry navigation and the ability to carry water. Time cutoffs are 4 hours for the 25k and 8.5 hours for the 50k (about a 16:30 minute per mile pace). A two-day Double Championship pairs selected run and bike events with solo and relay divisions and awards for top finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
