Event overview
The Great Gobble Wobble takes place November 27, 2025 in Oconomowoc, WI, with start and finish at Oconomowoc High School, 641 E Forest St. Event distances include:
- 5K
- 5K Walk
- 10K
- 1K Kiddo's Race (ages 1-10)
- 5K Ruck
The race is chip timed with a chip start; individual time begins when a participant crosses the start line and ends at the finish line. The course is mostly flat with minimal elevation change. There will be one aid station on course; 5K participants pass it twice and 10K participants pass it four times.
Logistics and race details
Packet pickup is available the day before at Silver Circle Sports and at the race location on race day. Registered participants by 11:59 am on November 14 are guaranteed a custom cotton unisex T-shirt; shirts after that date are available while supplies last. The Kiddos 1K entry is priced at $5 and 100% of that fee is donated to the Oconomowoc Christmas Lights Fund; all child participants receive a finisher medal. Top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups receive custom medals and an awards ceremony will take place at the race. Parking is available on-site; organizers note over 2,000 participants are expected. Refunds are not permitted. Dogs are not allowed on school property.
