The Great Trail Race is a point-to-point event between Truckee and Tahoe City, California, held on Saturday, September 27, 2025. The course runs through the Sierra and includes singletrack trail sections. Participants may take part by gravel bike, mountain bike, or trail run.
Course options and event information
Two course options are offered: Elite and Classic. The Elite course adds more technically challenging terrain and additional distance compared with the Classic course.
