The Half Fast Half is a winter road race in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 3645 Centerville Rd. Participants choose from these distances:
- 5k
- 10.5k
- 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles)
The half marathon course is certified. The roads are described as gently rolling and snowy. Aid stations are provided every 1.5 miles. Packet pickup and pre- and post-race space are inside the Vadnais Heights Elementary gym. A pancake and sausage breakfast is served after the run. Course maps and race results are available through the event materials.
Race services and awards
Race packets include a race bib, a timing chip, an event shirt if selected, and a molded finisher medal. Free professional race photography will be on site, though not every participant is guaranteed a photo. Results are provided by a timing service.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group (19 and Under; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+). Overall winners are not eligible for age-group awards. Award recipients must be present to receive awards; shipping is possible at the recipient’s expense.
