About the race
HAROC (Hanging Rock Challenge) is a trail running event held at Hanging Rock State Park in Danbury, North Carolina. It features two race distances: a challenging 50K ultra with approximately 5,100 feet of elevation gain over 30.6 miles, and a 25K race covering 15.8 miles with about 2,800 feet of elevation gain. The courses traverse technical, rocky, and root-filled trails, offering runners stunning views of cliffs, waterfalls, and rugged mountain terrain.
