HaRUNbee 5K Walk/Run for Healthy Birth Outcomes
The HaRUNbee is a 5K walk/run on Saturday, August 1, 2026, organized by the National Coalition for Healthy Black Families. The event aims to raise awareness and prevent unhealthy birth outcomes and to promote wellness by encouraging families to stay healthy mentally and physically. It seeks engagement from people of all ages and races from the Harambee community and surrounding neighborhoods. Participants may walk or run, and babies in strollers are encouraged.
Registration and race details
The race will start and finish at Pete's Fruit Market on North Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Drive in downtown Milwaukee. Race day registration and packet pick-up are available. Registration categories and typical fees listed include: Adult (18+) Run/Walk - $33.53; Youth (17 or under) with T-shirt - $12.18; Youth without T-shirt - free; Individual (Team Registration, 10 or more to a team) - $17.51 per person; Senior (55 and over) - $17.51. To register as a team, individuals must select the team registration option and may create a new team or join an existing team.
