About the race
Helen Holiday Half Marathon by Run Bum is a scenic, holiday-themed trail race in Helen, Georgia. The event offers a half marathon and a 10K on mountain trails—not a road race—with big climbs and some technical sections. Runners should be prepared to hike in spots; the course has no mile markers and no age-group awards, but walkers and back-of-pack runners are welcome.
A 6-hour cutoff applies. There is one aid station around mile 8 stocked with water and Gatorade. All finishers receive a beanie, a pint glass, and a badass medal; top 3 M/F receive special awards.
