Helenback Race Series

The Helenback Race Series is a trail-running event in Helen, Georgia, surrounding Unicoi State Park and the Chattahoochee River area. The event offers three distances: marathon, half marathon, and a 4-mile race. Runners begin and finish on the start/finish field by the river, tackling climbs through pine and hardwood forests, past Smith Creek Dam, along the Lake Trail to Anna Ruby Falls, and up to Tray Mountain before returning.

The weekend features a post-race party with food, drinks, and music. The race is 100% nonprofit with proceeds supporting Unicoi State Park and local ROTC; pre-race briefings are required. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
