Event overview
Southwest ISD's Holiday Spectacular 5K & Reindeer Sprint is an inaugural community running event on December 14, 2025, held at the SWISD Campus Track Complex in San Antonio, Texas (11914 Dragon Lane, 78252). The 5K course runs through the district's historic campus site and includes student performances and festive music. Post-race activities include a Southwest Spirit March featuring district campuses, visits with Santa and holiday photo opportunities, a holiday bazaar, a car/truck show, and a community resource fair. Proceeds support Southwest ISD's Penguin Project and Unified Sports.

Additional categories include 5K divisions for adults with and without a shirt option, a 5K category for those 18 and under, and an Athlete with Disability category.
