Hoover Dam Marathon
The Hoover Dam Marathon is a scenic and historic race held at Lake Mead National Recreation Area near Boulder City, Nevada, about 18 miles from Las Vegas. The event offers marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K distances. Runners start at Boulder Beach and traverse the paved River Mountains Loop Trail and the Historic Railroad Tunnel Trail, featuring old railroad tunnels used during Hoover Dam's construction.
The course showcases stunning views of Lake Mead, the Mojave Desert, and the Hoover Dam itself, including a loop near the dam's upper parking garage.
