Lake Mead Marathon
The Lake Mead Marathon is a scenic running event held entirely within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Boulder City, Nevada. The race starts at Boulder Beach and follows the paved River Mountain Loop Trail. It offers multiple distances including a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K.
Participants enjoy stunning views of Lake Mead, the largest man-made lake in U.S. history, set against the backdrop of January desert temperatures. The course is USATF sanctioned, accurately measured, and clearly marked.
