Hot Dam Race
The Hot Dam Race is an annual running event held in Lubbock, Texas, organized by the West Texas Running Club since 1988. The 35th edition features two distances: a 2-mile run/walk for ages 7 and up, and a USATF-certified 5-mile run for participants aged 13 and older. Both courses are out-and-back routes starting near the waterfall at Canyon Lakes, located at 22nd Street and MLK Jr.
Boulevard. The race offers a family-friendly atmosphere with no race-day registration or refunds. Entry fees vary for members and non-members, and strollers are allowed only in the 2-mile event for adults 18+.
The event draws over 200 finishers annually. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
