The Hotcake Hustle 10K, 5K & Fun Run takes place on Saturday, January 10, 2026 in Plano, Texas at Red Tail Pavilion in Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve. The event offers multiple distance options:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Virtual Run
The courses run on the trails of the Oak Point Nature Preserve and the event lists the courses as certified. A virtual option allows participants to run anywhere; virtual results can be uploaded between January 10, 2026 and April 25, 2026. Virtual race packets will be shipped beginning the week of January 12, 2026.
Race logistics
Registered participants receive race items including a long sleeve race shirt, custom finisher medal, and custom bib. The event provides free pancakes and hot chocolate for finishers, free parking, and a bag check. There is a beer garden for people 21 or older and an after party with music. An untimed 5K option is offered for those who do not want a timing chip.
Packet pickup is available at several local running stores on January 6, 7, 8 and 9, 2026, and on race day at Red Tail Pavilion starting early morning. Discounts of $5 apply automatically for youth aged 8 and under, seniors 65 and over, and groups of four or more (not valid for the Fun Run or Virtual Run). VIP parking is available for purchase.
