Huntsville Half Marathon
The Huntsville Half Marathon, held annually in Huntsville, Alabama, is a flat and fast 13.1-mile race ideal for first-time half marathoners, personal record attempts, and marathon training. The 47th edition in 2025 starts at Hillwood Baptist Church, located at 300 Kohler Road, and features a course through South Huntsville. Aid stations with water, Powerade, energy gels, bananas, and porta-potties are available every two miles, along with entertainment along the route.
The event is organized by the Huntsville Track Club and sponsored by Fleet Feet Huntsville/Madison. Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. The race has a 3.5-hour cutoff and offers participant medals and event t-shirts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
