Event overview
The Island Christmas Half & 5k takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Rexburg, ID (7 N 3rd E, Rexburg 83440). The event is co-sponsored by the BYU-Idaho Alumni Association. Every ticket sale supports students in Rexburg.
Distances:
- Half Marathon - $45 (price increases after November 1, 2025)
- 5K - $25 (registration closes December 6, 2025)
Participant benefits and student raffle
Half marathon participants receive a t-shirt and a medal. 5K participants receive a medal and may purchase a t-shirt. Student runners are entered into a raffle for one of three $500 scholarships; each additional person a student brings to the race counts as another raffle entry.
