Island Girl Triathlon and Duathlon

Island Girl Triathlon and Duathlon takes place at Lago Mar Lagoon in Texas City, Texas. The event offers a Sprint Triathlon (300-meter swim, 8-mile bike, 2-mile run) and a Duathlon (1-mile run, 8-mile bike, 2-mile run), plus a Sprint Triathlon relay. It is a ladies-only race, with an open-water swim in the crystal-clear lagoon and a finish along the white-sand beach.

The post-race LagoonFest atmosphere includes margaritas and resort-style amenities. Each participant receives a custom race bib, technical shirt, and island-themed swag, with age-group awards. Spectators gain free LagoonFest access for the day.
