Run for a New Day
Run for a New Day is a 5K running event held in Galveston, Texas, on September 13, 2025, starting and finishing at Galveston Island Brewing. The scenic and fast course runs west on Stewart Road, south on 85th Street, and then west along the paved seawall overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, featuring a water stop at the turnaround. The event supports the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and mental health initiatives, offering both an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option.
