Jailbreak 5K

Jailbreak 5K is a certified 5K race held in Mobile, Alabama, starting and finishing at Mardi Gras Park on South Royal Street. It features two events: Adult 5K and Youth (12 and under). The theme highlights Mobile’s history with a daring jail-break vibe, and participants run a flat, shaded course that passes the historic Mobile County Jail and bonding companies.

A standout feature is a post-race jail-cell photo op to celebrate the escape. Runners receive thematic gear (inmate t-shirt, fugitive ID bib, recovery contraband, and winners’ loot) and may compete for overall and age-group awards. Organized by Family of the Fallen.
