Lake Whatcom Triathlon
The Lake Whatcom Triathlon, held in Bellingham, Washington, is a USAT-sanctioned event established in 2017 and hosts the Washington State Age Group, High School, and Club State Championships. The Olympic course features a 1500-meter swim in Lake Whatcom, a 40km bike ride along North Shore Drive and Y Road, and a 10km run through the scenic trails of Whatcom Falls Park. The race starts and finishes at Bloedel Donovan Park, which also serves as the transition area.
The event offers multiple race options including Olympic, Sprint, Aquabike, and a Kid’s Splash and Dash, attracting athletes from beginners to elites in individual and relay categories.
