About the race
The 21st Annual LARS Race Against Hunger & Homelessness takes place in Laurel, Maryland, on Thanksgiving morning as a long-running holiday tradition that supports Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services (LARS). The event features a 5K Run and a 1-Mile Walk, with additional virtual and Sleepwalker (donor) options. The course begins on 8th Street between Emancipation Community Park and Alice B.
McCullough Field, with morning packet pickup in the nearby parking area. Runners and walkers of all ages participate, rain or shine, to help prevent hunger, end homelessness, and foster hope across South Central Maryland.
