St. Patrick's Day Run : Boulder City, NV (March 14, 2026)
The event is a road/trail running event held in Boulder City at the Historic Railroad Trail within Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The course area is described as approximately 18 miles from Las Vegas and on the shoreline of Lake Mead, which the organizer notes is the largest man-made lake in the US. The event offers multiple distances and a 1 mile stroll. Packet pick-up is available the day before at a bike shop in Henderson and on race day at the Historic Railroad Hiking Trailhead in Boulder City. Course notes: all races begin at the Historic Railroad Trailhead. The Half Marathon starts west for 2 miles, returns, then continues through six tunnels to a turnaround at Hoover Dam before returning to the finish. The 12K runs east through the six tunnels to a turnaround and back. The 5K runs east 1.55 miles and returns the same way.
